Shep talks about music and American Jazz in particular. He talks about or plays music from King Oliver, Lenny Tristano, Buddy Bolden, Harry James, Billie Holidy, Stan Kenton, and Duke Ellington. This is a 43 minute segment of his 11pm to 2am broadcast - June 16-17, 1952. Shep mentions its Monday Night at the very beginning. It comes from the collection of Anthony Jaslow and was originally recorded on an audiodisk.
