Shepherd starts the program by playing the kazoo, along with a record of, "Boodle-Am-Shake." A well remembered show, as Shep offers to hurl invective for all of us. He tells listeners to put their radios on the windowsill. He recalls his job selling fireworks. An army story: fireworks for real...being shot at! Jean Shepherd. 44:25. Audio condition: Excellent.
