[max] snopes.com - In fact, as publicly revealed in the 9 November 1962 issue of Time magazine, 'BVD' was an initialism taken from the names of the three men — Bradley, Vorhees, and Day — who founded the apparel company in 1876. The B.V.D. brand lasted for a century before it was acquired by Fruit of the Loom in 1976, and it still exists as one of that company's subsidiary brands. Comments: 0 |
