[05:17] News break to announce passing of police officer who was shot earlier in the day. Cut segment with Shep was recovered from 4-23-75 WBJC replay. [22:20] Shep reads article sent in by listener - "How to Taste a Pickle"
[ Courtesy: David Goldin - 07-11-2024 ] "Elegance is elegance." A plan for a "national cabal of DJ's." Shep plays the kazoo along with a record of, "Oh, Susannha." He editorializes on, "How To Taste A Pickle" and extols the virtues of pickles. The program is interrupted for a news bulletin: Policeman Garcia has just died of his wounds. He was shot while chasing a burglar.
