And before we go any futher, I would like to say this is handy hints and kinks night. . . .
Show Description
Handy hints and kinks night for thos of you who would like to know how to live and survive in our time. Brief discussion of the Super Bowl coverage and followup "The Ms Problem" Shep reads response by Amy Vanderbilt to a writer inquiring about the use of "Ms". Amy refers to the famous writer Jean Shepherd who returns mail addressed to Ms Jean Shepherd. Ironically Amy adds a note (she first, however, extracts checks, if any) Apparently Amy was focused on the "Ms" element and didn't realize the true reason was that Ms Jean Shepherd was in fact a man. OR was Amy talking about another writer named Jean Shepherd Shep tells how Mis Meano insists on calling him 'Eugene' - He originally told this story on his October 23, 1970 show.
