Show Description
Baseball is the topic of this show. Shep compares various matchups and rivalries between teams such as the Yanks vs Cards. He mentions that he did the 'color' for the 1st World Series broadcast live over the Armed Services Network. He looks at the possible matchups for this year: Cubs vs White Sox Yanks vs Dodgers (It turned out Mets vs Oakland for 1973) He then talks about the Chicago / Detroit rivalry and about the fistfights that broke out on the field during some of the games he went to as a kid.

[Jim] FHC has this dated Saturday 7/14 as well as Pete Delaney. Pete's list had shows dated 7/9,10,12,13,14 for the week. The next show listed was 7/17 (Tues) Since there were no Saturday shows during this period the 7/14 show had to be 7/16 (Mon) OR possibly the shows dated 7/12, 13 ,14 were actualy 7/11, 12, 13 since he had no 7/11 show.
