Garrison Keillor

aka: Garrison Keillor

Author, Storyteller, Humorist, and Radio Personality

Known for his radio program "A Prairie Home Companion" and his book "Lake Wobegon Days", for a number of years, Garrison would mention Shep in his birthday tributes on his "The Writer's Almanac". (See link below to hear some) In 2008 Keillor read a poem called "My Career in Radio" during his live broadcast from Tanglewood. In the last two lines he refers to Shep. See images on right. Although it's been rumored that Shep disliked Keillor, he did an endorsement on Keillors book "Happy to Be Here" in 1982 (See image on right)
