Show Description
Shep did not have guests on his show that often and he would only take phone calls occasionally usually at his prompting. One caller / listenter that stood out was during the 1950's. This female caller frequently called the show and sparked interest among the othe listeners. It was discovered in later years that the "Listener" was none other than actress Lois Nettleton, who eventually, in 1960, would become his third wife.
