1956

In 1956, American Broadcasting Company (ABC) hired Shep to do a nightly network radio series from 10:05PM to 11:55PM beginning October 22, 1956. This was later cancelled after "A.B.C. and Mr. Shepherd failed to reach an agreement during contract negotiations. This all occurred at a time when Shepherd and WOR were at odds about his ability to draw sponsers and his short lived firing.
