Jack Armstrong

"The All-American Boy"

Station:

The Jack Armstrong radio show originated at WBBM in Chicago on July 31, 1933. In the April 8,1971 Overseas Press Club Conference, he also mentions that he did a lot of acting and appeared on old radio shows, one of which was as "Billy Fairfield" on Jack Armstrong. In a 1963 appearance on the Long John Nebel Show he mentions the Jack Armstrong connection again as well as having been on "The Air Adventures of Jimmy Allen".
